The talented woman behind this brand is the Italian-educated, Istituto Marangoni (Milano) 2005 graduate Kleting Titis Wigati and French Fashion School Esmod in Jakarta advanced Diploma. Having lived in Europe’s fashion capital for four years allows her to adopt the European sartorial tastes and French’s flair while at the same time incorporating the Asian quirky dress sense in her designs. Her strong potential in the fashion industry was marked by the creation of KLÉ in 2009. Since then, through this ready-to-wear label, every season Kleting has been inventing a wide spectrum of looks; from the demure traditional to daring chic, to the delight of her loyal clientele. Kleting considers herself fortunate to be a part of a designer generation in Indonesia that has mad a breakthrough in the Asian prêt-à-porter world. Where she is now came from a solid background and work experience in the fashion world. She has tried in most aspect of fashion Among others: as Fashion editors and Stylist for numerous magazines & Television commercials, Product Development for the infamous Italian labels Miss Sixty, Energie, Killah& Sixty Men, Sixty Far East in Hong Kong, Product designer for Italian sportswear Berik, Hong Kong –Jakarta. Her dedication and passion to fashion was reflected in the numerous achievements and awards, she was ESMOD’s 2001 award recipient for pattern making and design interpretation category, Hard Rock fm Jakarta Radio’s most inspiring people under 30 in 2008 and 2009’s Cleo magazine & Femina group’s Cleo Fashion Award “Young and Talented Designer”. Kleting idea of success as a fashion designer means to reach a point where she inspires people and sees her designs continuously grow with her creativity and drive.
